A single merged feed is useful to a reader and useless to a researcher. Someone tracking the villages of 1948 does not want the poetry; someone teaching the chronology does not want the human-rights reports. So each collection has a stream of its own.

Every feed comes in two formats. RSS is what feed readers speak. JSON is what everything else speaks — and it keeps the structured fields (district, era, poet, archive of record) that RSS would flatten into prose.
