Mission
FALASTEEN.AI exists to make reliable information about Palestine easier to find. We are not a newsroom, a political party, or a fundraising platform. We are a curated archive and a community space that centres Palestinian voices, human-rights documentation, and the literary and intellectual traditions that have carried the Palestinian cause across generations.
The name Falasteen (فلسطين) is simply the Arabic word for Palestine. The.AI suffix is not a claim about artificial intelligence; it is the domain we have, and we are using it to organise intelligence of an older kind — carefully sourced, carefully attributed, and free to everyone.
The commitments this archive makes to the people in it are written out as the covenant of the Majlis, and they bind the editing as much as the community.
What is in it
Sourced, not summarised away
Every research entry links to the organisation that published it. The summaries are ours; the record is theirs, and the link is always there so you can go past us.
The culture, not only the conflict
Poetry, embroidery, cinema, cuisine, the great houses of the cities. An archive that only holds the catastrophe describes a people entirely by what was done to them.
Solidarity in context
Mandela, Tutu, Malcolm X, the anti-apartheid movement — Palestine placed inside the global history of liberation struggles, because that is where it has always sat.

Editorial standards
Source-first
Every research entry links directly to the original publisher. We do not reproduce full reports without permission, and we do not paraphrase a source into something it did not say.
Original summaries
Summaries are written in-house and checked against the source material. Where a summary compresses a disagreement, it says who disagrees.
Attribution
Poetry, quotations, photographs and literary material are attributed to their authors and linked to an authoritative edition or collection wherever one exists.
Contested things are labelled contested
Where the record is genuinely disputed we say so and show who says what, rather than picking the version that reads better.
Corrections in public
If we publish something inaccurate we correct it and note the change. Corrections are not quiet edits.
No monetisation
No advertising, no affiliates, no paywalls, no sponsored entries. There is nothing here that anyone paid to have here.
Found something wrong? Say so on the community wall. Corrections are the most useful thing anyone sends us.
Privacy
Nothing is sold
No data about you is sold, brokered, or shared with advertisers. There are no advertising trackers on this site, and there is no advertising to track for.
What is public is public
Messages posted to the community wall are visible to everyone and stay searchable. Post nothing there you would not sign — and ask us to remove anything you regret, at any time.
The archive guide keeps nothing
Conversations with the guide are held in your own browser and are gone when you clear them. Your question is sent to a model to be answered and is not stored as a transcript on our side.
Stories stay yours
Anything contributed to the recording desk remains the property of the person who told it. Nothing is published without agreement, and withdrawal is honoured immediately, without a reason being asked for.
