Wadi Hunayn

Wadi Hunayn, named by its founders after their home valley in Hadramawt, was a citrus village of 1,620 across the road from the Zionist settlement of Nes Tziyyona — the only genuinely mixed locality in Palestine, where the two communities lived side by side. Its people fled on 17 April 1948, and the record of why is thin. The mosque is now a synagogue; about ten houses survive.
