Kafr 'Ana
كَفْر عانَة
Kafr 'Ana — possibly the Canaanite Ono of the Karnak list, Byzantine Onous — was a village of 2,800 eleven kilometers east of Jaffa, living on cereals, citrus, poultry and bees. It was taken during Operation Hametz at the end of April 1948, and on 13 September it was one of fourteen villages Ben-Gurion asked the cabinet's permission to destroy. No trace of its houses can be made out on the site.
