Nazareth districtDepopulated 1948

Al-Mujaydil stood on the Nazareth–Haifa road six kilometres southwest of Nazareth, the third largest village of its subdistrict with 1,900 people and 18,836 dunums in 1944/45, and the second largest olive producer in the district. A Golani Brigade unit took it on 14 or 15 July 1948 during Operation Dekel; the village was emptied and razed, and Migdal ha-Emeq was built on its land in 1952.
