Al-Ghazzawiyya

Al-Ghazzawiyya spread over a wide area of the Beisan valley two kilometres from Baysan, its people of the al-Ghazzawiyya Bedouin tribe living in both houses and tents and known through the region for their wool and dairy. It came under Israeli control on 20 May 1948, the week after the Golani Brigade took Baysan; the History of the Haganah records that Golani's Fourth Battalion "cleansed the entire Beisan valley of bedouins." No physical evidence indicates that the village ever existed.
