'Ajjur

'Ajjur was the largest village of the Hebron foothills — 3,730 people in 1945, two mosques, two schools, and a Friday market that drew merchants from across Palestine. The Giv'ati Brigade took it in October 1948; three houses remain, and five Israeli settlements stand on its 58,000 dunums.
