Abu Shusha

Abu Shusha stood at the western edge of the plain of Marj ibn 'Amir, 26 kilometers from Haifa, with a population the British government's April 1945 survey estimated at 720. It was among the first villages to fall in the battle of Mishmar ha-Emeq in April 1948, occupied by Palmach, Carmeli, and Alexandroni units and destroyed.
